SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES
The manufacturing we do in Made Black are the state of the art surface treatments in terms of sustainability.
Thanks to the initiatives we have taken, our solvent-based paints have less environmental impact than many water-based paints. With our PVD on plastic deposition we have reduced the environmental impact of electroplating on plastic and, thanks to PVD on metal, we can provide the longest lasting technology on the market (so-called lifetime finish) on all substrates already resistant to corrosion.
TESTED SUSTAINABILITY
Thanks to the group's in-house chemical and performance laboratory, we can not only ensure that our processes are increasingly durable, but also, and above all, that we use safe chemical products with minimal environmental impact that are safe both for the people who wear our products and for those who work with them.
ENERGY CLASS A4
That is the best class available today, also called NZEB (near zero energy building).
Certification obtained thanks to 100% LED lighting, home automation that creates lighting only when really needed, adequate thermal insulation, water and oil boilers both condensation, inverter on refrigeration units and each pump with significant consumption as well as, of course, the use of clean energy.
EMISSIONS INTO THE ATMOSPHERE ZEROED AND TRANSFORMED INTO CLEAN ENERGY
Made Black has eliminated any emission of solvent or VOC (organic volatile substances). Thanks to a latest generation rotoconcentrator we transform the evaporated solvents into water, CO2 and heat. In particular, we transform them into 250kW of sustainable thermal energy, which we use for industrial processes and air conditioning, sustainable energy generated without additional consumption of methane or other resources.
ZERO HARMFUL WATER EMISSIONS
Our pre-treatment washing plants recycle the water used by cleaning it thanks to a selective resin treatment plant that allows us to save more than 98% of the water needed for the process.
QUALITY TREATMENTS, CLEAN ENERGY
Painting and PVD operations require significant amounts of electrical energy, not only for the deposition process, but also to guarantee a controlled working environment with constant temperature, humidity and clean air - fundamental conditions for the final product quality. To compensate for this need we generate part of our energy through 150kW of photovoltaic panels installed on our roof.
